Cathy Covarrubias, PRESIDENT

Cathy Covarrubias has been the Democratic City Leader since 2022. Cathy has been a treasurer for the Sunview PTA, Secretary for the Lyndhurst Democratic Club, on the bylaw committee for the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party. Cathy has been a Lyndhurst resident for 8 years. Cathy has also run a cottage industry baking cakes for a while.

I’m a born and raised Clevelander & a resident of Lyndhurst since 2007.I bring my past grassroots organizing experience with District14Voice, Action Together Northeast Ohio, and Red, Wine & Blue. I’m a proud union member of RWDSU local 379 & a worker right’s advocate. I’m presently a Central Committee & Executive Committee member of the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party.

Miguel Covarrubias, 2ND VICE PRESIDENT

Miguel Covarrubias has lived in Lyndhurst for 8 years and is the father of two energetic and active children. He has served on the board of directors for Treehouse in Bedford, is the head coach for SELC Soccer's 2nd and 3rd-grade teams, and is a frequent volunteer at the polling locations in Lyndhurst. Miguel, when he has time, is taking nature photos around the Cleveland Metro Parks

Kathy Cull, TREASURER

I grew up in Lyndhurst and moved back here 7 yrs ago. I've been a member of the Cuyahoga Executive Committee and Lyndhurst Dems since 2024. I gave it my all gathering signatures for Citizens Not Politicians to get a ballot against Gerrymandering on the ballot. I've served as a treasurer for a church and as a bookkeeper for a small business. Today, I am looking forward to a productive and promising new year for the Lyndhurst Dem Club
