The first step to getting involved is joining the community. If you are a Lyndhurst resident and want to help make our community, city, county, state, and country a better place, the first place to start is in our backyard. We have a great group of active folks in our community and have worked hard to ensure our neighbors are informed, registered, and have every opportunity to make their voices heard. Consider joining us! We just need a brief form to be filled out and your annual dues, both available online for your convenience: Become a Member
There is plenty to do in the community and plenty to do at the state level, not to mention federally. But what about our own home? We are working on a few different things that you can do with your own devices in your own time to make sure your own personal voice is heard. Need to know where your money has gone in the past elections just by shopping for everyday items? We found an app for that! Want to make sure that Social Media isn't selling your information? We're working on a few tutorials for how to deactivate that. Want to learn more about how to think differently and engage with those doing similar work elsewhere? We're working on a list of creators to follow on social media! When this goes live it will be available here: Personal Options
These are the issues that are important and need action right away. This can be issues facing our community, city, county, or state that will need an all-hands-on-deck approach to get us all acting together. We'll send out routine reminders regarding these issues. We'll post these on our socials when we can as well. Please check back often to help. Important Issues
On the Volunteer Opportunities page, you will see a list of organizations that need your help. They each will have different requirements for what they need and who fits that need. We recommend you consider how much time you have and how best to use that time to Volunteer: Volunteer Opportunities
